Silverudds Blue (formerly called Isbars)

Silverudds Blue are fantastic layers of large green eggs.

Silverudds Blue (Isbar) chickens are a beautiful rare breed, and they lay green eggs.  They come in blue black or splash with either silver or gold birchen markings.  Although online sources state these are autosexing, they are not.  Silverudd died before he finished the breed and added the barring.  In fact he never called this breed Isbar.  That is why recently (March 2016) the Swedish Cultural Hens Association voted to change the name officially to Silverudds Blue in honor of Martin Silverudd and his genetics and breeding work.

We run blue, black and splash Silverudds (Isbars) in our breeding flock.  We get blue, black, and splash chicks from these breedings.  Your order may include any of these colors.
